The Best Air Purifiers

What is Air Pollution?

Air pollution has become a major problem in recent times. It is the release of pollutants into the air that are harmful to human health and the environment. Emission sources are many, but motor vehicles and industrial processes are the major contributors. According to the World Health Organization, the major pollutants include particle pollution, ground-level ozone, carbon monoxide, sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides, and lead.

Health Problems associated with Air Pollution

Exposure to pollution has a toxicological impact on human including cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, eye irritation, skin diseases, and long-term chronic diseases such as cancer. Studies have revealed the direct association between exposure to poor air quality and increased morbidity and mortality. In addition, air pollution is a major environmental risk factor in the progression of diseases such as asthma, lung cancer, Alzheimer`s and Parkinson`s diseases.

Consequences Of Air Pollution

Air pollution is responsible for the deterioration of human health, as a result, people become less productive and less prosperous

Tackling car emissions

The urban setting is more polluted due to the high density of the human population and their activities compared to the less developed areas. People driving cars are more exposed to smog and soot when combusting fossil fuels react with sunlight. Soot is made of particulate matter and is dangerous as it can penetrate the lungs and bloodstream. As a consequence, worsen bronchitis, lead to heart attacks, or even cause death.

Improving The Quality Of Air

Despite improvements in air quality, large parts of the population in urban areas still breathe polluted air. As a result, there are efforts in trying to understand the underlying biological basis of toxicity to inform policymakers how best to advocate for cleaner air. Various interventions have been made towards a healthier environment that will depend upon achieving the right public attitude and behavior through monitoring air pollution. Improving the quality of air has become a challenge such as in reducing risks from toxic pollutants, climate change, and protecting the ozone layer from degradation.

Importance Of Technology

Technology has a crucial role in finding solutions for environmental problems including air pollution. Although technology cannot fix the problem it can provide both source and remedy as it can be used to observe and monitor the environment globally. At Reffair, we use high tech methods, STATCELL and ACTIVSENSA to produce products that are well-researched, tested, high-quality, reliable, and with high performance. STATCELL technology involves the addition of an extra layer to the Air Purifier Filter to improve quality in capturing more air pollutants while ACTIVSENSA is the sensor that tracks live pollution. The sensor is efficient and effective in sensing pollution levels faster. For example, we have Reffair-Portable Air Purifiers that are invented and designed to improve air quality in cars or at home. We understand that the development and acceptance of technology are dynamic, therefore, we work to understand the significant changes in technology to support our products. In addition, we explore new approaches to improve air quality as well as identify the right interventions and deploy them quickly to reduce air pollution.
